About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to join our team at Coyote T-shirts Ltd. in an urban area. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our consumer products production line.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting and Administration
    • Prepare and submit regular reports to management on production progress and any issues that may arise.
  • Production Planning and Scheduling
    • Establish and manage work schedules to ensure efficient production and meet deadlines.
  • Training and Development
    • Train or arrange for training of production staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties.
  • Quality Control and Safety
    • Oversee the safety of operations and ensure that all production staff are aware of and follow safety protocols.
  • Personnel Management
    • Recommend personnel actions, such as promotions or disciplinary actions, to management.
  • Inventory Management
    • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to maintain production levels.
  • Team Leadership
    • Supervise, co-ordinate, and schedule the activities of production staff, and possibly review their performance.
  • Process Improvement
    • Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
About You

We are looking for a Production Supervisor who has:

  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a production or supervisory role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a team.
  • Flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing production schedules and priorities.
  • Judgement and the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow with the company.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a 37.5 hour work week. The work environment is urban and public transportation is available. The job requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and the ability to distinguish between colours. The ideal candidate will have manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye co-ordination.
