Job Title: General Construction Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Construction Supervisor to join our team at AWCSIT CONSTRUCTION LTD.

Job Summary:

The General Construction Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the construction process, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This is a key role that requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimate costs and materials for construction projects
  • Prepare production and other reports to track project progress
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Co-ordinate work activities with other project supervisors or managers
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed on construction sites
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and deadlines
  • Requisition materials and supplies as needed
  • Supervise workers and projects to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure workers have the necessary skills
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in construction supervision
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to co-ordinate and schedule activities
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Ability to establish methods to meet work schedules and deadlines
Work Environment:

The General Construction Supervisor will work in a fast-paced construction environment, with frequent travel to construction sites. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and contractors.
