Responsibilities:
- Generate shipping documentation for all railcar movements, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and compliance with TDG regulations.
- Prepare Marine Billing while adhering to strict marine billing protocols.
- Document Cintellate incidents as necessary, including initial fact-finding and investigations.
- Maintain accurate records of outbound and inbound shipments, ensuring compliance with TDG regulations.
- Compile and analyze various reports, managing time-sensitive data with precision.
- Review and audit shipping documents to confirm compliance and retention of necessary documentation.
- Utilize available resources to resolve issues related to non-compliant shipping documents.
- Conduct daily assessments of inbound and outbound rail shipping documents to ensure adherence to TDG regulations in both Canada and the US.
- Engage in process reviews and develop recommendations for process improvements.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including senior management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven capability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel.
- Strong analytical abilities.
- Proactive in utilizing resources for problem-solving.
Experience Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience; background in transportation, operations, or logistics is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations is a plus.
