About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Rail Billing Coordinator to join our team at 09 Irving Oil Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate creation and audit of Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) documents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create shipping documents for all railcar movements, ensuring attention to detail and compliance with TDG regulations.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and compliant Marine Billing processes.
  • Investigate and document Cintellate incidents, gathering facts and conducting initial investigations.
  • Validate and retain records of outbound and inbound shipping documents, ensuring compliance with TDG regulations and daily rail performance records.
  • Prepare and analyze reports, collecting and manipulating time-sensitive data to ensure accuracy.
  • Review and audit inbound and outbound shipping documents to ensure compliant documentation is retained.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to problem-solve non-compliant shipping documents and initial investigations.
  • Conduct daily reviews and approvals of inbound & outbound rail shipping documents, confirming compliance with TDG regulations in both Canada & the US.
  • Develop and implement process improvements, documenting procedures and making recommendations.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in transportation, operations, or logistics, with a strong understanding of TDG regulations.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
