About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Specialist to join our team at The Collegeway Animal Hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of animal health issues, from routine check-ups to complex medical cases.
  • Conduct physical examinations, laboratory tests, and other diagnostic procedures to determine the best course of treatment.
  • Prescribe medication, perform surgery, and provide other medical interventions as needed.
  • Advise clients on animal care, nutrition, and behavior, as well as provide education on preventative health measures.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine and apply this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
  • 2+ years of experience in a veterinary setting, preferably in a hospital or clinical environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and other healthcare professionals.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to make sound judgments in high-pressure situations.
