Job Summary

Go Time Energy Services Ltd is seeking a skilled Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our heavy-duty equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and Inspect Equipment: Use computerized and other testing equipment to detect faults and malfunctions in heavy-duty equipment.
  • Repair and Maintain Equipment: Diagnose faults or malfunctions and adjust equipment as needed to ensure optimal performance.
  • Train and Mentor: Instruct apprentices and provide guidance on equipment maintenance and repair procedures.
  • Document Maintenance: Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Test and Inspect: Test repaired equipment to ensure it meets manufacturers' specifications and inspect equipment to detect potential issues.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in heavy-duty equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Certifications: Driver's License (Class 1 or A), Driver's License (Class 3 or D), Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate, and First Aid Certificate.
Work Environment

This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. The successful candidate will be required to work overtime as needed and be willing to travel.
