Lifemark Seniors Wellness is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Rehabilitation Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will provide assistance to supervising Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists in the treatment of Senior Wellness residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists in the development and implementation of treatment plans for Senior Wellness residents.
  • Assist in the performance of various components of the treatment plan, including exercises and modalities.
  • Perform treatments as prescribed and directed by supervising Physiotherapists.
  • Conduct exercise classes and maintain a safe and tidy gym and treatment area.
  • Communicate regularly with Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists regarding resident status and treatment interventions.
  • Complete daily treatment records as directed.

Requirements:

  • Rehabilitation Assistant/Exercise Therapist/Physical Education academic background.
  • Previous experience working in a Seniors' care setting is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable and independent.
  • A valid Vulnerable Sector screening check.
