RT Medical is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse with RT Medical, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality care to individuals in need of assistance with daily living tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and monitor residents' health status
- Develop and implement care plans based on individual needs
- Provide wound care and manage medical equipment
- Educate residents and their families on health management
- Supervise and coordinate care provided by other healthcare staff
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid
- Document residents' medical histories and progress
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree (BScN) or Bachelor of Nursing degree (BN)
- Experience as a visiting nurse, visiting registered nurse, visiting registered practical nurse, and/or community nurse considered an asset
- Valid Standard First Aid and Level C CPR
- Updated immunization records (including completion of a two-step tuberculosis test within the last 6 months)
- Ability to interact with others in a caring, tactful and courteous manner
- Excellent problem solving, time management, and crisis resolution skills
- Valid G2/G driver's license and access to a reliable car
- Ability to use phone applications
- Submission of proof of two COVID vaccinations
- TB test completed within 6 months to a year
- Up-to-date CPR and First Aid certification
