Project Director for Rail and Transit Infrastructure

GHD is seeking a seasoned Project Director to lead our Rail and Transit Infrastructure practice. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing multi-disciplinary teams and overseeing the development and growth of our transit/rail practice.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead project teams for preliminary and detail design of linear infrastructure projects and programs.
- Manage all aspects of project management, including team management, budgeting, scheduling, quality control, safety, and client satisfaction.
- Interface with GHD Design and design teams, potentially located internationally.
- Review shop drawings and attend construction sites as required.
- Prepare and administer project budgets.
- Liaise with clients and participate in business development and promotional activities.
- Registered Professional Engineer in Ontario.
- PMP certification (or working towards).
- Experience working with Regional Municipalities or Local Transit Agencies.
- 15+ years of project management experience on multi-discipline engineering teams, with experience in Bus Rapid Transit and/or Light Rail Transit Projects.
- Project delivery experience in alternate project delivery models (P3, DB, PDB), and experience in managing teaming arrangements with contractors and consultants.
- Experience with alliance delivery models is highly desirable.
This role reports to the Rail and Transit Lead in Ontario.
