Project Director Transit Infrastructure

We are seeking a highly experienced Project Director to lead our Transit Infrastructure team. As a key member of our Rail/Transit practice, you will be responsible for managing multi-disciplinary teams on transit facility projects for municipal clients.
About the Role:This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a seasoned project manager to take ownership of all aspects of project management, from proposal to close-out. You will be accountable for managing teams, sub-consultants, budgets, schedule, quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead multi-disciplinary teams on transit facility projects for municipal clients.
- Manage all aspects of project management, including teams, sub-consultants, budgets, schedule, quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
- Interface with GHD Design and design teams, potentially located internationally.
- Accountable for contractor questions, reviews shop drawings, and attends sites during construction as required.
- Prepare, track, and administer project budgets.
- Liaise with clients, participate in business development, and promotional activities for the company.
- P. Eng or Registered Architect in Ontario.
- Accredited with PMP certification (or working towards).
- Experience working for Regional Municipalities or Local Transit Agencies.
- 15+ years of project management experience on multi-discipline engineering teams with experience in transit facilities, rail, stations, electrification, and signaling.
- Project delivery in alternate project delivery (P3, DB, PDB), and experience in managing teaming arrangements with contractors and consultants.
Rail and Transit Lead in Ontario.
