HR Operations Coordinator – Tirecraft Ontario

Tirecraft Ontario is in search of a dedicated and meticulous HR Operations Coordinator to enhance our Human Resources division. This position will concentrate on two pivotal domains: Talent Acquisition and Occupational Health & Safety. Core Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition:

  • Collaborate with location Managers to ascertain staffing requirements and craft job postings and descriptions.
  • Advertise job vacancies across various platforms, including job boards and the company website.
  • Evaluate resumes, conduct preliminary phone interviews, and arrange in-person interviews with hiring managers.
  • Aid in the formulation and execution of effective recruitment strategies to attract high-caliber talent.
  • Maintain recruitment documentation and provide regular updates to the HR Manager regarding recruitment progress.
  • Assist in onboarding new hires and ensuring their seamless integration into the organization.

Occupational Health & Safety:

  • Develop, implement, and oversee health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct routine safety audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures.
  • Coordinate and deliver health and safety training programs for Team Members.
  • Maintain precise records of safety incidents and ensure adherence to local, state, and federal safety regulations.
  • Act as the primary contact for health and safety matters, ensuring prompt response and resolution.

General HR Support:

  • Provide assistance in various HR initiatives and projects as required.
  • Address employee inquiries and offer guidance on HR policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • Post-Graduate certificate in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Certification in HR or safety management is advantageous.
  • Over 3 years of experience in HR with an emphasis on recruitment and Occupational Health & Safety, supporting multiple locations.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and other pertinent safety standards.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS software is beneficial.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Capacity to manage confidential information with integrity.
