Kitchen Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Lazeez Shawarma. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our kitchen and ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities- Operations Management
- Develop and implement efficient systems and procedures to manage kitchen operations, including inventory control, supply chain management, and staff scheduling.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize kitchen performance.
- Staff Supervision and Training
- Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties to a high standard.
- Provide coaching and feedback to staff to help them improve their performance and achieve their full potential.
- Quality Control and Assurance
- Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to a high standard, meeting our quality and presentation expectations.
- Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all food and beverages meet our standards.
- Customer Service
- Provide exceptional customer service to our guests, responding promptly to their needs and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Work with the management team to develop and implement customer service initiatives to improve guest satisfaction and loyalty.
- Financial Management
- Prepare and manage kitchen budgets, including inventory, supplies, and labor costs.
- Monitor and analyze financial reports to identify areas for cost savings and implement changes to optimize kitchen profitability.
- Reporting and Compliance
- Prepare and submit regular reports to management on kitchen performance, including sales, inventory, and labor data.
- Ensure that all kitchen operations are compliant with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Education
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
- Experience
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
- Skills
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
