Job Title: Assistant Manager, Construction

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Manager, Construction to join our team at Colliers Project Leaders Inc. As an Assistant Manager, Construction, you will play a key role in the success of our construction projects, working closely with our project managers and site teams to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate subcontractors' activities to ensure smooth project execution
  • Plan and organize daily operations to meet project milestones and deadlines
  • Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates to ensure accurate financial planning
  • Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones, monitoring progress to ensure timely completion
  • Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements
  • Oversee the analysis of data and information to inform project decisions
  • Prepare reports to stakeholders, including project status updates and financial performance
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on project coordination and execution
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with project managers, site teams, and stakeholders
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Project
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as required
