Key Responsibilities

Depending on the specific site assignment, document and report all incidents communicated by hospital staff, medical professionals, patients, or visitors.
Conduct regular patrols of the facility's interior and exterior to prevent unauthorized access; calmly direct individuals causing disturbances to exit the premises.
While patrolling, assess risks such as unsecured doors, obstructed entrances and exits, mechanical problems, hazardous materials, and other security breaches.
Utilize two-way radios professionally.
Respond to alarms and emergency assistance requests.
Monitor situations, surveillance cameras, property, and events.
Communicate honestly and receptively in all situations, providing information about the facility as requested by staff.
Maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders and visitors through courteous and respectful interactions.
Screen and monitor visitors and clients professionally to grant access to the facility.

Education Requirements

High School Diploma

Certification Requirements

Code of Conduct/Vulnerable Sector Check
Standard First Aid, CPR Level C
