About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Technician to join our team at BATTAGLIA ARCHITECT INC. as a key member of our design and development team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Assist in the design development process, preparing proposals, analyzing technical documents and reports, and tendering contracts.
  • Technical Expertise: Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software, AutoCAD, and other technical tools to create working drawings, specifications, and presentation graphics.
  • Project Coordination: Supervise architectural technical staff, monitor and inspect work, estimate costs and materials, and assist in the preparation of presentation graphics and drawings.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma in a related field.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks.
  • Physical Capabilities: Manual dexterity, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and ability to distinguish between colors.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent interpersonal skills, oral and written communication, initiative, organization, and teamwork.
