Casual Project Pilot Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pilot to join our team at Forest Protection Limited. As a Casual Project Pilot, you will operate assigned aircraft in accordance with our Company Operations Manual and Standard Operating Procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate assigned aircraft in accordance with FPL's Company Operations Manual and Standard Operating Procedures
  • Adhere to instructions issued by officers of the Department of Natural Resources on fire suppression or instructions from the base manager when assigned to aerial application projects
  • Report all items requiring maintenance on the aircraft as soon as possible
  • Responsible for the cleanliness of the aircraft at all times
  • Successful candidates will be expected to work in a team environment, and shifts operate on a stand-by according to weather conditions
Requirements:
  • Commercial Pilot License - Fixed wing
  • Experience in a Piper Aerostar, Cessna Caravan, or aircraft equipped with a Garmin G1000NXI is an asset
  • Valid driver's license for travel within and outside the province
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English
  • Valid passport
