We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at KONIMAX RESTORATION INC. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the construction and repair of buildings and structures.
Key Responsibilities- Measure, Cut, and Assemble Materials: Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
- Build Foundations and Install Systems: Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems.
- Fabricate and Install Components: Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
- Maintain and Repair Structures: Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments.
- Work Site Environment: The work site environment is typically noisy and dusty.
- Work Setting: The work setting is primarily in construction, renovation, commercial, industrial, and residential environments.
- Physical Demands: The job requires a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads.
- Accurate and Reliable: The ideal candidate must be accurate, reliable, and possess good judgement.
- Team Player: A team player with excellent communication skills is required.
- Work Term and Hours: The work term is permanent, and the hours of work are 35 to 40 hours per week.
