We are seeking a skilled Furniture Craftsman to join our team at Ritz Furniture Planet Ltd. as a Framer-Carpenter.
Key Responsibilities- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials to create high-quality furniture pieces.
- Supervise and lead a team of workers to ensure efficient and safe working practices.
- Estimate costs and materials required for projects, ensuring accurate budgeting and resource allocation.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of woodworking and carpentry techniques.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, with regular bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Reliability, accuracy, and a strong work ethic are essential for this role.
