About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team at Galaxy Home Furnishing Corp. as a Master Craftsman - Woodworking Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality wood products and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Wood Fabrication: Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
  • Installation and Maintenance: Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware, and maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings.
  • Project Management: Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites, estimate costs and materials, and ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise a team of 3-4 people and provide guidance and support to ensure that all team members are working efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
