Data Analyst

Saskatchewan Blue Cross is seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our IT Data Solutions department. As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the organization by providing data-driven insights and recommendations to drive business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:- Partner with business users to understand requirements and develop reports to meet their needs.
- Design and implement data marts to support reporting and analytics.
- Develop and maintain reports using SSRS and Power BI.
- Reconcile differences between reports to ensure accuracy.
- Provide training and guidance to employees and leaders on using the self-service reporting portal.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve data-related issues.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to increase efficiency and effectiveness of reporting.
- Completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Systems Technology or Computer Science with a focus on databases and data analytics.
- 3-5 years of previous related job experience.
- Experience with MS SQL Server BI Stack, including SSRS and TSQL, Power Query, and Power BI.
- Knowledge of database fundamentals, including multidimensional database design and relational database design.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and set priorities within established deadlines.
