About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Helper at Big Wings Moose Jaw. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Ensure all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces are cleaned and sanitized to the highest standards.
    • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including storage areas and refrigerators.
  • Food Preparation and Handling
    • Assist in the preparation and presentation of food, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
    • Help to replenish condiments and supplies in the kitchen and dining areas.
  • General Kitchen Duties
    • Participate in the cleaning and sanitizing of dishes, pots, and pans.
    • Assist in the removal of kitchen garbage and trash.
    • Help to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors.
    Work Environment and Physical Demands
    • Work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with a high level of activity and noise.
    • Stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
    • Work a regular 40-hour week with occasional overtime as required.
