Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our team at WOK BOX MOOSEJAW. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with food preparation, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and utensils.
  • Help maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors.
  • Support the serving team by replenishing condiments and supplies, and assisting with food presentation.
  • Participate in food safety and handling procedures, including proper storage and disposal of waste.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
