Position Overview

KIDDOS ON THE GO LTD. is seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our vibrant team. This role is essential in fostering the growth and development of young children in a nurturing environment.

Employment Details

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of College/CEGEP
  • Equivalent experience will be considered
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute child-care programs that enhance the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Engage in storytelling and lead various activities.
  • Oversee staff, trainees, or volunteers in their duties.
  • Support fellow educators in implementing programs aimed at child development.
  • Facilitate activities that promote creativity through art, music, and physical play.
  • Monitor children for potential learning or behavioral challenges and document observations.
  • Maintain accurate records and submit reports to supervisors.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and establish behavioral guidelines.
  • Participate in staff meetings to review children's progress and challenges.
  • Build and sustain collaborative relationships with colleagues and community service providers.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children.
Certifications and Licenses
  • Child Development Supervisor (ECE Level 3)
  • Emergency Child Care First Aid and CPR
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
Experience with Special Needs
  • Experience working with children exhibiting behavioral issues.
