About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team at KIDDOS ON THE GO LTD. as a Lead Teacher. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Design and implement engaging and educational programs for children, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment that fosters growth and development.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and train staff, trainees, or volunteers to ensure they are equipped to provide high-quality care and education to children.
  • Record Keeping: Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in maintaining accurate records of children's progress and development.
  • Collaboration: Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers, community service providers, and parents to ensure a comprehensive approach to child care and education.
  • Environment and Safety: Plan and maintain a safe and healthy environment that protects the well-being of children, adhering to licensing regulations and industry standards.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in early childhood education or a related field.
  • Certifications: Child Development Supervisor (ECE level 3), Emergency Child Care First Aid and CPR, First Aid Certificate, and CPR Certificate.
  • Personal Qualities: Punctuality, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, interpersonal awareness, judgement, reliability, team player, values and ethics, creativity, honesty, and ability to multitask.
