About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team at KIDDOS ON THE GO LTD. as a Lead Educator. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Storytelling and Engagement: Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and preparing crafts.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise staff, trainees, or volunteers and assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs.
  • Record Keeping: Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records and submit written observations on children.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children.
  • Environment and Safety: Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in early childhood education.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Child development supervisor (ECE level 3), Emergency child care first aid and CPR, First Aid Certificate, and CPR Certificate.
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, interpersonal awareness, judgement, reliability, team player, values and ethics, creativity, honesty, and ability to multitask.
