Key Responsibilities
  • Translate texts from English to French, utilizing translation software to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Conduct research to justify the use of terminology specific to certain texts and contribute to the department's terminology database.
  • Provide high-quality services to partners by meeting or exceeding Service Level Agreements.
  • Consult with other members of the department regarding terminology and work collaboratively on larger projects.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a translator.
  • B.A. with specialization in English to French translation.
  • Thorough knowledge of French and English.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Good knowledge of translation software and MS Office applications.
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of bank products and services.
  • Member of OTTIAQ, an asset.
