Job Title: Glass Installation Specialist

Exact Glass Ltd is seeking a skilled Glass Installation Specialist to join our team. As a Glass Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing glass and glazing systems in commercial and residential settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine the type of glass, frames, and materials required for each installation
  • Measure, mark, and cut glass to ensure precise fits
  • Position and secure panes in frames, ensuring proper alignment and sealing
  • Assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors, or glass products
  • Install door, window, and other hardware, ensuring smooth operation and safety
  • Repair glass doors and other glass structures, restoring them to their original condition
  • Assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolding, rigging, and hoisting equipment, ensuring safe access and egress
  • Transport cases of glass, handling them with care to prevent damage
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in glass installation and glazing
  • Permanent employment with a regular 40-hour workweek
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication
Work Environment:

As a Glass Installation Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, handling heavy loads and standing for extended periods. You will be required to work at heights, using scaffolding and rigging equipment, and will need to be comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling.
