Job Title: Glass Installation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Glass Installation Specialist to join our team at Exact Glass Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing glass and other materials in various settings, including commercial and residential buildings. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work at heights.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine the type of glass, frames, and materials required for each installation
  • Measure, mark, and cut glass to ensure a precise fit
  • Position and secure panes in frames, ensuring a secure and watertight seal
  • Assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors, or glass products
  • Install door, window, and other hardware
  • Repair glass doors and other glass structures
  • Assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolding, rigging, and hoisting equipment
  • Transport cases of glass
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in glass installation
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of work
  • 40 hours per week
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Physically demanding
  • Handling heavy loads
  • Standing for extended periods
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling
Education:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
