About the Role
Holcim is seeking a skilled Asphalt Paver Operator to join our team in Edmonton, AB. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our asphalt pavers, ensuring high-quality results and efficient project completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain asphalt pavers, ensuring optimal performance and quality of work
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, adhering to safety protocols and procedures
- Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and deadlines
- Monitor and control material production, ensuring compliance with specifications and quality standards
- Ensure a safe working environment, adhering to company safety policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and performance
Requirements
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License
- Minimum 5 years of experience operating a screed
- Knowledge of City of Edmonton Specifications
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform routine maintenance and repairs
- Ability to read survey markings and understand construction plans
