Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate to join our Institutional Equity Research team at the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce. As an Associate, you will work closely with our Research Analysts to provide in-depth analysis and research on the Industrials sector.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Financial Analysis: You will be responsible for conducting financial analysis of companies and industries, including building financial models and forecasts, and analyzing data sets to support investment recommendations and valuation analysis.
  2. Client Focus: You will participate in regular calls with public companies to gather information from senior management teams, as well as attend industry events and meetings.
Requirements
  1. Education: You must have an Undergraduate degree in Finance or a business-related discipline. An MBA, CFA, or CPA designation is preferred.
  2. Skills: You must have excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, as well as strong attention to detail and proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  3. Experience: You must have experience conducting financial analysis of companies and economics, and a background in a variety of industries is an asset.
