Food Service Team Lead

Joe's Pizza Stone - Tumbler Ridge is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and dining areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including training and development.
- Establish and maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to minimize waste and optimize resources.
- Develop and implement effective scheduling and workflow processes to meet customer demand.
- Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure menu planning, preparation, and presentation meet quality standards.
- Monitor and maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to feedback and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and customer feedback.
- Work closely with the management team to achieve business objectives and improve operational efficiency.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service or related role.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
