Halton Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Professional Practice Clinician to join our team. As a key member of our Office of Professional Practice, you will play a vital role in promoting excellence in clinical practice, education, and quality improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement clinical education programs to enhance staff knowledge and skills.
- Collaborate with surgical patient care managers and chiefs of surgery to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Provide consultation and guidance on best practices and clinical guidelines.
- Maintain a current knowledge base on leading-edge technology and clinical programs.
- Develop and monitor quality indicators and participate in quality improvement activities.
- Support nursing orientation and education initiatives.
- Participate in organization-wide management activities.
- Provide administrative support to patient care managers.
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Baccalaureate degree in nursing required; master's degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of demonstrated clinical experience in operating room/PACU.
- Experience as an educator, including program design and delivery.
- ACLS certification required; instructor designation an asset.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and team leadership skills.
