Job Summary:
The ERP Project Manager position is responsible for planning, coordinating, monitoring, and implementing highly complex IT ERP Projects to meet organizational goals. This role requires strong leadership and project management skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and business units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Coordination: Develop and implement project plans, including project scope, timelines, and budgets.
- Team Management: Supervise and guide project teams, including Junior, Intermediate, and Senior Business Analysts and Application Administrators.
- Project Budgeting: Manage project budgets and ensure that projects stay within budget.
- System Development and Deployment: Perform a primary role in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new business applications and enhancements to existing business applications.
- Cost-Benefit Analysis: Conduct cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed systems to aid management in making implementation decisions.
- Quality Assurance: Work with QA team to coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems.
- Training and Documentation: Provide orientation and training to end users for all modified and new systems, and complete project and system support documentation to specifications.
- Stakeholder Management: Attend meetings with clients and their representatives to collect information to clarify project specifications, make recommendations, and reach agreement in defining system needs.
Requirements:
- Education: Post-Secondary Education in the field of Computer Science, Information Science, Management Information Systems, or Business Administration.
- Skills: Ability to troubleshoot systems, work independently, and design, write, test, or troubleshoot software applications.
- Experience: Previous experience in project management, IT, or a related field.
