Key Responsibilities- Lead Worship Services: Conduct inspiring and engaging worship services that promote spiritual growth and community building.
- Supervise Staff: Oversee the work of our office and volunteer staff, ensuring that our church operations run smoothly and efficiently.
- Administer Rites of Faith: Administer rites of faith such as marriages and funerals, providing comfort and support to our congregation.
- Perform Administrative Tasks: Manage administrative tasks for our religious community, including budgeting, planning, and coordination.
- Provide Spiritual Guidance: Offer spiritual guidance and counseling to members of our congregation, helping them navigate life's challenges.
- Develop Programs: Develop and implement programs of religious education, ensuring that our congregation is equipped to serve God and the community.
- Represent the Church: Represent our church in humanitarian endeavors, social services, and welfare activities, promoting our mission and values.
- Education: A college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role, or equivalent experience.
- Language: Fluency in English, with proficiency in Bini and Edo languages an asset.
- Security Clearance: A confidential security clearance, as well as a criminal record check, child abuse registry check, adult abuse registry check, and vulnerable sector check.
