Job Summary
Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Bella Coola General Hospital in Bella Coola, BC. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices to provide evidence-based care.
Requirements
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Completion of a recognized advanced nursing program in emergency or critical care nursing, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Proven experience in emergency or critical care nursing, with a strong focus on patient-centered care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to quality and safety.
