Nurse Practitioner Opportunity in Bella Coola

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join their team in Bella Coola. As a key member of the primary care and urgent care team, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to the community.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients and clients, including diagnosing diseases, disorders, and conditions.
- Initiate treatment, including healthcare management, therapeutic interventions, and prescribing medications in accordance with statutory and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide patient-centered care.
- Develop and implement population-based strategies to improve health and participate in policy-making and quality improvement activities.
- Current registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Four (4) years of recent, and relevant clinical nursing experience.
- Successful completion of the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) required.
