Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Bella Coola General Hospital in Bella Coola, BC. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, and contribute to the hospital's mission to deliver exceptional healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide nursing care to patients/clients on the inpatient ward, including emergency nursing care to patients/clients of all ages.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers to enhance quality of life from the perspective of the client/resident/patient and/or family.
- Participate in designated committees/teams and approved research projects as assigned.
- Maintain and advance your own clinical competence through continuous learning and professional development.
Bella Coola is a picturesque mountain valley community located at the head of the North Bentinck Channel, 500 km north of Vancouver. The community has a population of approximately 1800 people and offers a unique blend of natural beauty and outdoor recreation opportunities.
Qualifications- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Completion of a recognized advanced nursing program in emergency or critical care nursing, or one year recent, related experience in emergency or critical care nursing.
