Information Technology Systems Analyst

Job Summary:
The Information Technology Systems Analyst will be responsible for managing and maintaining the firm's backup systems and processes, as well as providing support in maintaining our network and server infrastructure. This role requires a proactive individual with strong technical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and maintain backup systems and processes using Commvault.
- Perform reliable, secure backup and recovery across the enterprise in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Perform regular backup and recovery tests to validate the effectiveness of backup solutions.
- Create and update documentation for backup procedures, solutions, licensing, and applicable project artifacts.
- Assist in the maintenance and administration of network and server infrastructure, NetApp.
- Monitor network performance and ensure optimal operation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network and server-related issues.
- Manage and maintain print server environment.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement network and server upgrades and improvements.
- Provide technical support to end-users for network and server-related issues.
- Assist in the deployment and configuration of new hardware and software.
- Use the firm's ticket management and change management systems.
- Participate in occasional after-hours work as needed.
- Minimum 2 years of post-secondary education in Information Technology Services.
- 2-3 years of experience in a Systems Analyst or related role.
- Proven experience in managing backup systems and network/server infrastructure knowledge.
- Strong understanding of security concepts surrounding operating systems and applications.
- Relevant certifications considered an asset in any of the following: CompTIA Network+, Commvault, VMware vSphere, NetApp, Microsoft, Cisco, Palo Alto Networks.
