Job Summary:

The Systems Analyst will play a key role in managing and maintaining the firm's backup systems and processes, as well as providing support in maintaining our network and server infrastructure. This role requires a proactive individual with strong technical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain backup systems and processes using Commvault.
  • Perform reliable, secure backup and recovery across the enterprise in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Perform regular backup and recovery tests to validate the effectiveness of backup solutions.
  • Create and update documentation for backup procedures, solutions, licensing, and applicable project artifacts.
  • Assist in the maintenance and administration of network and server infrastructure, NetApp.
  • Monitor network performance and ensure optimal operation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network and server-related issues.
  • Manage and maintain print server environment.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to implement network and server upgrades and improvements.
  • Provide technical support to end-users for network and server-related issues.
  • Assist in the deployment and configuration of new hardware and software.
  • Use the firm's ticket management and change management systems.
  • Participate in occasional after-hours work as needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of post-secondary education in Information Technology Services.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a Systems Analyst or related role.
  • Proven experience in managing backup systems and network/server infrastructure knowledge.
  • Strong understanding of security concepts surrounding operating systems and applications.
  • Relevant certifications considered an asset in any of the following: CompTIA Network+, Commvault, VMware vSphere, NetApp, Microsoft, Cisco, Palo Alto Networks.
