Your duties will include sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors, dusting furniture, and vacuuming carpeting and upholstered furniture. You will also be responsible for cleaning and disinfecting kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, as well as handling and reporting lost and found items. In addition to these tasks, you will assist with the immediate settlement needs of newcomers and refugees, including housing, transportation, and storage. You will also support their social and labor market integration by facilitating access to community resources, language training, and skills training. Furthermore, you will recruit newcomers and refugees who were displaced by conflict or natural disaster and offer mentorship programs to pair them with experienced employees. You will also provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
