Position Overview
We are in search of a dedicated Pharmacokinetics Research Scientist with a robust background in bioanalytical techniques for antibodies or proteins. This laboratory-focused role presents an exciting opportunity to expand our pharmacokinetics and toxicology capabilities, facilitating the identification and advancement of lead antibodies into clinical settings. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, collaborative, and thrive in a dynamic environment with multiple priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute in vivo pharmacokinetics studies across a variety of antibody development projects.
- Generate and analyze pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic data from biological samples to evaluate the potential of specific antibody programs.
- Develop, validate, and implement ligand binding assays for pharmacokinetics, toxicokinetics, anti-drug antibodies, and pharmacodynamics across different species and biological matrices.
- Collaborate with external Contract Research Organizations (CROs) to conduct in vivo studies and to generate and characterize critical assay reagents.
- Work alongside cross-functional teams to address challenges, analyze data, and communicate findings effectively.
- Mentor and train junior scientists to foster their professional growth.
- Enhance your technical expertise and engage in continuous professional development.
- Prepare educational materials and communicate strategies, key insights, and implications to colleagues.
Qualifications
- PhD in a relevant scientific discipline, or a Master’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in an industrial or academic laboratory setting.
- Proven experience in conducting pharmacokinetic studies and interpreting pharmacokinetic data.
- Familiarity with both non-compartmental and compartmental data analysis methodologies.
- Demonstrated expertise in assay qualification and process optimization.
- Strong grasp of antibody structure and function.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent documentation, organizational, and communication abilities.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team environment.
- Experience with LC-MS for quantifying large molecules in biological samples is a plus.
