Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacokinetics Scientist to join our team at Zymeworks. As a key member of our clinical pharmacology group, you will be responsible for designing and executing pharmacokinetic studies, analyzing and interpreting data, and providing scientific expertise to support the development of our therapeutic molecules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute pharmacokinetic studies to support the development of our therapeutic molecules.
  • Analyze and interpret pharmacokinetic data to inform clinical development decisions.
  • Provide scientific expertise to support the development of clinical study protocols, statistical analysis plans, and clinical study reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of clinical studies.
  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of pharmacology, biology, therapeutics, drug metabolism, bioanalysis, and biopharmaceutics.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics.
Qualifications and Experience
  • PhD or equivalent in Pharmacology/Biomedicine/Biochemistry or related scientific discipline.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in a pharmaceutical industry, contract research, or clinical research setting.
  • Strong background in pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics.
  • Experience with clinical development of therapeutic molecules is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Phoenix WinNonlin for non-compartmental analysis is a must.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong clinical/scientific writing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The Canadian base salary range for this full-time position is $94,000 - $, + bonus + equity + benefits.
