Job Summary:
Multimatic Inc. is seeking a skilled Automotive Finishing Specialist to join our team. As an Automotive Finishing Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing and finishing composite components to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare composite components for finishing by cleaning and sanding surfaces.
- Apply coatings to composite components using various spray methods.
- Inspect components during processing stages to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Follow work instructions and quality control processes to ensure consistency and excellence.
- Use body repair materials and methods for composite components.
- Work in a dynamic team environment and provide/receive constructive feedback.
- Adhere to Multimatic's quality-focused attitude and work culture.
Requirements:
- Experience in auto body finishing and repair.
- Experience in spot repair using airbrush or spray gun.
- Experience in colour matching.
- Experience with painting two or three tone graphics across various panels.
- Ability to interpret basic work instructions & follow mix ratios.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision with high quality output.
- An understanding of composite component construction is an asset.
- Experience in manufacturing environments is an asset.
