Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Member Service Representative to join our team at Coastal Community. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members, processing financial and non-financial transactions, and promoting our products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transaction Processing
    • Accurately process a variety of financial and non-financial transactions for members within established guidelines.
  • Sales and Service
    • Provide sales and service expertise to inform members of new products and services, and changes to existing products and services.
  • Customer Service
    • Answer telephone inquiries and provide assistance to members.
  • Access and Security
    • Provide members access to safety deposit boxes.
  • End of Day Processing
    • Complete end of day processing and balancing in a timely manner, as per established procedures.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary school diploma with academic emphasis.
  • Experience
    • Up to 1 year of work experience in a sales and service position.
  • Skills
    • Keyboarding skills of 40 wpm and computer terminology.
    • Proficiency with Windows products such as Outlook, Word, and Excel applications.
    • Excellent communication and listening skills.
    • Ability to multitask and navigate multiple computer systems.
