We are seeking a highly skilled Member Service Representative to join our team at Coastal Community. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and processing a variety of financial and non-financial transactions for our members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently to meet the needs of our members.
  • Provide sales and service expertise to inform members of new products and services.
  • Answer telephone inquiries and provide assistance to members.
  • Provide access to safety deposit boxes and perform other related duties as assigned.
  • End of day processing and balancing to be completed in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Secondary school diploma with academic emphasis.
  • 1 year post-secondary education.
  • Up to 1 year of work experience in a sales and service position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Keyboarding skills of 40 wpm and proficiency with Windows products such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills to engage members in conversation and provide resolution to their needs.
  • Ability to multitask and navigate multiple systems simultaneously.
  • Interviewing skills and ability to ask probing questions.
