Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team at Brunel. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service to our customers, ensuring their equipment is functioning properly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Drive customer satisfaction through proactive communication and commitment to resolving customer's issues/problems.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance required on product lines in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot, repair, modify, overhaul, or refurbish standard and special purpose equipment and systems components.
  • Installation and Upgrade: Perform installations as required, and participate in field upgrade programs.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain effective, communicative relationships with Customers, managers, support functions, and the sales organization.
  • Sales Opportunities: Promote company growth through identifying sales opportunities and recommending products/services to Customers.
  • Communication: Communicate promptly and efficiently with Customers providing informative status updates.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or GED with 2+ years of relevant experience required.
  • License: Valid driver's license is required.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work flexible hours and travel locally as required.
  • Skills: Strong technical, organizational, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer Skills: Experience with navigating a computer and exposure to Microsoft Office programs.
  • Independence: Comfortable working independently without supervision.
  • Priorities: Flexibility to handle multiple, changing priorities.
  • Physical Demands: Physical working requirements include: Routine movement such as walking, bending, kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, reaching, twisting, pushing, pulling and grasping.
