Key Responsibilities- Provide on-site preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation support for complex medical equipment.
- Drive customer satisfaction through proactive communication and timely resolution of customer issues.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on medical equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Utilize advanced technology to complete administrative tasks, troubleshoot issues, and improve the customer experience.
- Identify and recommend STERIS products and services to customers, promoting growth and revenue.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor when interacting with customers, contractors, and colleagues.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in electronics, mechanical, or a related field, plus one to two years of relevant experience.
- High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of two years of relevant experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer communication skills.
- Strong technical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to handle multiple priorities and adapt to changing situations.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel as required.
The Field Service Representative will work in a fast-paced environment, often in hospitals, operating rooms, and other healthcare settings. The position requires routine walking, bending, kneeling, and squatting, as well as the ability to lift and move equipment.
