Job Title: Geological Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Geological Engineer to join our team at ConeTec Investigations Ltd. as a key member of our consulting engineering company.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting geohydrological, geological, geophysical, and geotechnical programs for data acquisition, analysis, and mapping to support the development of civil engineering projects. This includes planning programs, preparing recommendations and reports, and conducting studies of groundwater flow and contamination.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct geohydrological, geological, geophysical, and geotechnical programs for data acquisition, analysis, and mapping
  • Plan programs for data acquisition, analysis, and mapping to support civil engineering projects
  • Prepare recommendations and reports for the construction or improvement of civil engineering projects
  • Conduct studies of groundwater flow and contamination
  • Analyze reports and prepare recommendations on settlement of buildings, stability of slopes, and effects of earthquakes
Requirements:
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association
  • Eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association
  • AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word skills
  • Valid driver's licence
