Job Title: Geological Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Geological Engineer to join our team at ConeTec Investigations Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting geohydrological programs, geological programs, geophysical programs, and geotechnical programs for data acquisition, analysis, and mapping.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and conduct geohydrological programs for data acquisition, analysis, and mapping to support civil engineering projects.
  • Conduct geological programs for data acquisition, analysis, and mapping to support civil engineering projects.
  • Conduct geophysical programs for data acquisition, analysis, and mapping to support civil engineering projects.
  • Conduct geotechnical programs for data acquisition, analysis, and mapping to support civil engineering projects.
  • Prepare recommendations and reports for the construction or improvement of civil engineering projects.
  • Analyze reports and prepare recommendations on settlement of buildings, stability of slopes, and effects of earthquakes to support construction and civil engineering projects.
Requirements:
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association.
  • Eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
