**Job Requirements**

  • Registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association
  • Eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association

**Responsibilities**

  • Conduct geohydrological programs for data acquisition, analysis, and mapping
  • Conduct geological programs for data acquisition, analysis, and mapping
  • Conduct geophysical programs for data acquisition, analysis, and mapping
  • Conduct geotechnical programs for data acquisition, analysis, and mapping
  • Plan programs for data acquisition, analysis, and mapping to assist in the development of civil engineering projects
  • Prepare recommendations and reports for the construction or improvement of civil engineering projects
  • Conduct studies of groundwater flow and contamination
  • Analyze reports and prepare recommendations on settlement of buildings, stability of slopes, and effects of earthquakes to support construction and civil engineering projects
